LJ Administrivia FAQ
May I friend you?
Sure, you're welcome to friend me, but I'm not going to notice. I'm not sure why you would want to do such a thing because what I post to my journal is of questionable value.
Will you friend me back?
As long as I either know you in person or remember you posting non-spam content in a group I post to, sure. Just post a request to whatever my latest entry is. However, since the only posts to my journal are infrequent random quizzes, I have no friend-locked posts. It won't give you any more access than you already have.
Why did you friend me?
As Homer Simpson said, "Your ideas are intriguing, and I wish to subscribe to your newsletter." I friend people who post entertaining and/or thought-provoking ideas to their journal, and I don't understand why I should announce this to people. After all, the journal entries were public. Furthermore, I have no expectation to be friended back.
May I quote you?
In general, unless I explicitly put a copyright notice on something, anybody is welcome to copy/quote/use anything I post publicly in whatever way they want (even if they want to use it in a negative light). If it's not too much trouble, though...

- I would prefer to not be given credit in any way that might uniquely identify me (I'm an introvert),
- I would appreciate being given a pointer to the material, and
- if there happens to be a vast fortune made off of it, it would be nice to be "financially remembered" a little. ;)
